According to Montgomery County Schools, on Friday, Sept. 9th, 10 a.m., The United States Department of Agriculture will honor all Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) elementary schools for their focus on healthy meals, quality physical education and nutrition and health education in classrooms. USDA Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services Under Secretary Kevin Concannon will present HealthierUS School Challenge awards to all elementary schools.
