GERMANTOWN, Md. (WUSA9) -- A 15-year-old from Montgomery County will appear in court Monday on attempted murder charges.

Marvin Frazier of Germantown is being charged in the shooting of a 16-year-old, police said.

At approximately 11:14 a.m. on March 9th, police say officers were called to Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown for a report of a shooting. Officers were unable to locate a victim or evidence of shooting.

Police were provided with information about the shooting after a middle school student was arrested for bringing a knife on school property.

Frazier was arrested Friday and police say he knew the victim.

Police say Frazier is being charged as an adult.
