Katy Perry at Merriweather Post Pavilion

Katy Perry at Merriweather Post Pavilion

“Who’s grown and sexy tonight,” Katy Perry asks midway through her sold out California Dreams Tour at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Wednesday June 15th.

The pop star sang all of her hits including: “I Kissed a Girl,” “E.T.,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “Hot N Cold,” (where she changed her ensemble at least eight times to match the lyrics)  “Waking Up in Vegas,” and an encore presentation of  “California Gurls.”

Perry embraced the audience as she invited fans onto the large candy cane, cartoon inspired stage for dancing and photo ops.

“Great performance! She is an extremely talented singer/songwriter. Very interactive and entertaining,” said Bethesda resident Kristen Yarosz.

Katy Perry got the crowd on their feet by displaying her vocal range singing: Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," Rihanna’s “Only Girl,” Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin,” and Willow Smith’s “Whip Your Hair.”
