Police Say Two Md. Men Shot Out 57 Car Windows

GERMANTOWN, Md. (WUSA) - Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department have charged two Germantown men with several counts of malicious destruction of property for allegedly using a BB gun to shoot out the windows of vehicles.

Police said 29-year-old Mariano Vilchis and 22-year-old Raul Molina are responsible for 57 incidents that happened between July 26 and August 3, in Germantown, Gaithersburg and Rockville.

The men were charged with four counts of malicious destruction of property valued over $500, and 53 counts of malicious destruction of property valued under $500.

The men were arrested Friday and released on $10,000 bonds.
